Oakland Living Corporation Warranty
All products produced and distributed by Oakland Living Corporation are warranted against material defects for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Any defective part will be repaired or replaced free of charge to the consumer. Cast aluminum and iron components as well as wooden slats are warranted against breakage or structural failure during normal use of the product. Products that contain glass and or other fragile components are not covered after delivery. Oakland Living product is not recommended nor designed for commercial use. The use of our product is for residential application only. Use in a commercial arena, in any manner, is at the owners risk and will void all product warranties and any legal liabilities that may arise. Acts of God, abuse, neglect or lack of reasonable maintenance of the product is not covered under this warranty. Damage incurred during shipment is the responsibility of the carrier. Please inspect product at time of delivery to ensure no damage is present. Cast iron products will eventually rust when exposed to the elements. We recommend the products be covered to protect them when not in use, especially when not in use for extended periods of time. To preserve the beauty and finish of our tubular iron products, we recommend applying an epoxy clear coat yearly to prevent oxidation.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return or exchange any item under our general return policy with the exception of some custom made cushions/pillows, rush orders, and closeouts within thirty (30) days of receipt as long as the product is returned in a new and unused condition inside its original packaging.
The customer is responsible for shipping and handling costs both ways (this applies for free shipping items as well). A 25% restocking fee applies on orders for Oakland Living Company products.
Damaged Items
Please inspect your items when they are delivered. If you receive a damaged product, you will have the option with the shipping company to refuse delivery. Please document with the carrier the specific damages incurred to the product. Contact us by phone with details of the problem so that we may return or exchange your merchandise. If the damage is not discovered upon delivery, we allow our customers 15 days to report any damage to us. You must submit your claim in writing with supporting photos. It takes up to 5 business days to review and accept your claim. After your claim has been approved we reserve the right to send replacement parts or completely replace the damaged item at no additional shipping cost to the customer.

ALL INTERNATIONAL ORDERS ARE FINAL. If your international shipment arrives damaged, we will work with you to exchange or repair your item. We do not accept returns for international orders.
